The Towneplace by Marriott is seeking an enthusiastic and energetic Executive Housekeeping Manager. Join Williamsport's premier hotel team and manage the housekeeping and laundry operation to ensure quality standards are met while delivering a customer experience that is unique and superior to our area.

Daily expectations are to manage day-to-day staffing requirements, plan and assign work, establish performance and development goals for team members and provide mentoring, coaching and regular feedback to help manage conflict and improve team member performance. The Executive Housekeeping Manager is required to educate and train all team members in compliance with federal, state and local laws and safety regulations and ensure staff is properly trained and has the tools and equipment to carry out job duties.

This is a working position in a fast paced environment. Strong organizational skills and cleaning during high-volume periods is mandatory. On a day to day basis a complete inspection is required of all guest rooms and public areas to ensure furnishings, rooms, equipment, linens, public restrooms, lobby, etc. are clean and in good repair to meet guest satisfaction.

The Executive Housekeeping Manager must also carry out special needs and requests of customers, VIPs, repeat visitors and frequent stay members and must be able to use tact and understanding when dealing with a variety of customer service problems, including stressful and highly emotional situations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30,000.00 - $35,500.00 per year
