Misselwood Events is seeking an Event Operations Manager to ensure consistent delivery of products and services for functions such as weddings and social, corporate and special events. The application deadline is February 1, 2023.

The primary responsibilities of the Operations Manager are:

• Serve as event manager and coordinator of events
• Ensure level of excellence is achieved with day to day operations
• Assist with outreach on social media, website and newsletters

Qualifications:

• A successful candidate will have time management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated experience in managing events in a professional manner that results in customer satisfaction and adherence to rules and policies
• Exemplary written and oral communications, problem-solving, and analytical ability typically acquired through attainment of a bachelor’s degree
• Outstanding customer service skills; true commitment to providing solutions in a timely way
• Ability to work quickly and thoroughly, prioritizing work based on urgency and demand
• Demonstrated understanding that details matter and must be correct.
• Candidate must have experience and knowledge of beverage service, to include execution, purchasing and inventory
• Must be certified with ServeSafe, Crowd Manager and AED/CPR
• Position will require weekend and evening shifts in addition to traditional hours.
• Position requires the ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and be on feet for several hours per day.
• Ability to learn and adapt new software
