Here is what you will be doing

• Move bulk materials between rail cars and trailers using a forklift
• Daily load/unloading of materials to/from trailers and rail cars
• Ability to understand and follow operating procedures and policies
• Ability to operate or learn to operate rail car loading systems and equipment
• Ability to perform work safely and productively
• Ability and interested in being cross trained on all functions at facility
• Enforces safety policies and procedures with other Team Members and visitors
• Ability to perform general maintenance on equipment
• Assist with other duties within the facility (general maintenance, landscape upkeep and painting)

Requirements of a successful Forklift Operator

• Forklift experience (2 years) required
• Read, write, and understand English
• Basic math skills
• Computer skills (light data entry)
• Valid Driver's License
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Qualified candidates must be able to pass an extensive background check, Pre-Employment Drug Screen and Physical.

Here are some of the physical requirements for this role

• Ability to work outside in ALL weather conditions (heat, rain, cold temps)
• Physically able to climb up and down rail equipment/ladders safely
• Willing to work with break bulk and dry bulk materials
• Can carry at least fifty (50) pounds
