Job Summary:
We are seeking an Entry Level Marine Systems Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of electronics, construction or automotive and a willingness to learn. The Technician will assist in the installation, fit and testing of all vessel systems including Electrical, Propulsion, Generator, Mechanical, and Interior.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation and setup of electronic systems and components.
- Learn to test and troubleshoot electronic systems to ensure proper functionality.
- Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of installation, testing, and repair activities.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
Requirements:
- Basic understanding of electronics and electrical systems.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
- Willingness to learn and expand knowledge in the field.
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship in a related field is a plus.
