Get a workout while you work! The entry level technician position at BOR Contents Denver involves packing-out contents (similar to a moving company) at a residence or commercial property after a fire or water loss. Contents include items such as furniture, dishes, and collectibles. It also includes cleaning these items at our cleaning factory then putting those items into storage until the affected property has been restored. Then the contents get moved back.

This job is physical and can be monotonous at times. Jobs are dirty. You will be going into properties after a fire or water has damaged the structure. This job isn't for the faint of heart.

The rewards can be large however. This is a young company looking for technicians to take the initiative to move up in the company. The disaster restoration industry is recession proof so there is security in what we do (water losses and fire losses happen no matter what the economy looks like). Also, you will get to see how disaster can affect personal property. A sense of empathy is a must when dealing with our clients. Lastly, you will stay in great shape!

The jobs starts out with a one month trial period and then a raise will be given of $2,080 per year.

In addition the owner provides knowledge on owning a business and becoming an entrepreneur. This job is not for everyone and it probably won't be a career job for most. If you're willing to learn though, take initiative, and care about others then there is a path to making a lot of money. We are a team that strives to always do what is right. No experience in the disaster restoration industry necessary. In fact, it is preferred that you don't have any experience. The ability to lift 20 lbs over your head is necessary. We are a different company than the others. We are not transaction based, we are communication and people based!
