Programs the product configuration system(s) used throughout the organization including the product offering, BOM, and work order routings.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

Programs the product configurator systems. Analyzes product changes to determine the effects on the product configurations (offering, BOM, work orders, etc.). Collaborates with various business units on projects to ensure the accuracy and interpretation of source documentation used for programming.

Responsibilities include:

• Programs the product configurator systems for new products/existing products
• Programming includes but is not limited to, product offering, BOM (Bill of Material), Price Parts, Routings, Travelers, Reference Units, ATP Data
• Consults with business areas such as, Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, Customer Care, and IT to ensure expectations are understood and executed accurately
• Conducts and/or participates in unit testing of coding
• Monitors and manages a service queue for break/fix and project task items

Specifics include, and are not limited to, rule development processes, rules reporting, rules integrity, ERP technical product configuration support.

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications

• Product configuration systems experience (INFOR CPQ Design Studio)
• Programming logic/language(s), MS Excel
• Excellent organization, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

The preferred candidate will possess the following (minimum) qualifications:

• 1 - 3 years manufacturing environment; configurable product; BOM
• 1 - 3 years of experience with ERP systems (preferably Oracle or INFOR CPQ)
• Bachelor’s degree, Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
• Associates Degree with technical high technical skills
