Electrician - Building Automation Systems (BAS)
$18 - $30 per hour depending on experience
Schedule is Monday thru Thursday: 4/10 hr. Night Shifts with 3 days off!

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years commercial electrician construction experience preferably in temperature control systems, lighting control, and refrigeration systems/controls - EMS/BAS (Energy Management Systems or Building Automation systems).
• Experience with the following systems/controls preferred: Emerson, CPC, Novar, Danfoss
• OSHA and CPR training a plus

Responsibilities:

• Assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, conduit, cable, equipment, components and devices associated with electrical equipment, following blueprints of electrical layouts and building plans.
• Installing and mounting electronic controls, device, panels, sensors, and components.
• Testing electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices.
• Inspecting installation sites and studying work orders, building plans, and installation manuals in order to determine materials requirements and installation procedures.
• Diagnosing malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem

Physical Requirements:

• The ability to lift 50 lbs.
• The ability to transfer 100 lbs. at a distance of 12 feet with the help of another person
• The ability to work outdoors in diverse environments
• The ability to ascend and descend ladders and other elevated structures
• Must be able to work at heights from an elevated aerial device
