EHS Manager – Full-Scope Safety Leader (Manufacturing)

The EHS Manager …

· Champions our Safety Culture

· Develops, implements, and audits safety programs

· Directs and oversees the IH testing program, audiograms, and Government required processes

· Enforces, implements, or translates Safety rules and policies

Responsibilities:

· Conducts Safety training presentations and maintains training records

· Collects, investigates, and manages Near Miss reports daily

· Assists in completing New Equipment Release Form (N.E.R.F) as needed

· Creates and posts Toolbox Talks and visual reminders

· Prepares and presents quarterly updates for leadership

· Orders supplies and services related to EHS

· Oversees plant security personnel

· Manages contractor safety

· Networking with other WPM sites to share and implement best practices

Education – Associate degree or equivalent experience required.

Minimum Qualifications –

· Three or more years of experience in a manufacturing safety role

· Leadership style that develops a strong focus to coaching, accountability, participation and achieving results.

Preferred Qualifications - BS/BA Degree in Environmental Health & Safety, or another related field; OSHA 30-Hour Certification; First Aid, CPR, AED certified.
