This Educator role is for our Empower Academy. This position will work closely with the Empower Academy Principal to make sure that the residents are receiving a quality education. The EAE reports directly to the executive team.

Responsibilities:

• Help watch screens to make sure students are staying within parameters
• Keep students on track; encourage them to take notes
• Make sure all the work for the day is done before releasing students
• Note absences, help with communication between students
• Maintain confidentiality regarding students

Other Responsibilities:

• During school breaks (fall, winter, spring and summer), the EAE is required to collaborate with the principal on planning learning activities as well as outings for the months of June, July & August.
• The EAE is the primary person for transporting residents to and from appointments that occur during the school day.

Hours: Monday through Friday 9am-4pm at the Mount Arukah campus.

Four Week PTO, but the EAE cannot take time off in July or December.

Pay: From $28,000.00 per year
