Larchmont Temple, a Reform Jewish congregation in southern Westchester NY, is seeking creative, enthusiastic and dedicated educators for its KESHER (Religious School) program. We have availability on Sunday mornings, Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons as well as an opportunity to assist and help coordinate a variety of family programs and experiences for the 2023-2024 year. On Sundays we engage our learners in a Day Camp model and on Wednesdays we engage our learners in a STEAM specialty model (Theater, Sci-Tech, Arts and more).

We seek those who are:

• Engaging and passionate about Judaism, building Jewish community and Jewish education
• Possess a strong background in Jewish holidays, Torah Stories, rituals, values and can participate in weekly Tefillah
• Collaborative team players
• Able to create and write engaging and creative learning plans
• Experience in and/or dedication to experiential Jewish education, SEL and whole person learning
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Understanding of and dedication to Reform Judaism

Our Sunday program meets 10 am - 12 noon, our Tuesday program meets 3:45 – 5:45 pm, and our Wednesday program meets 3:30 - 5:30 pm. Our family programs meet throughout the year on Friday nights, weekends and some weeknights. College students are welcome to apply.
