Early Childhood Teacher
Job description
The Merit School of Gunston is seeking experienced lead qualified teacher candidates in our preschool program.
Qualified teacher candidates will:
- Set the standard for high quality childcare at every level.
- Write lesson plans in accordance to the curriculum requirements.
- Monitor each individual child’s developmental milestones.
- Communicate positively and effectively communication with families.
- Maintain a safe, healthy, loving, and nurturing environment for all children.
- Be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Fluency in English - both written and verbal.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Experience working with young children, school setting and/or childcare facility is preferred.
- Pay is commensurate with education and experience.
