Lakeland Montessori Public Schools has an opening for an Early Childhood teacher (multi-age 3, 4 and Kindergarten). The Candidate must already hold a Bachelor's Degree (in order to obtain a State of Florida teaching certificate) and hold a certification from any MACTE accredited Montessori training center for Early Childhood/Primary Montessori certification.

All of our classrooms, age 3-15, are included in our Accredited School status through the American Montessori Society (AMS) and through SACS/Cognia. We are entering our 19th year of operation and serve as a model public Montessori school to help accredited public Montessori education become a reality for more children across the nation.

Salary range is $48,500 - $64,072 depending on years of experience (we follow PCPS salary schedule). We currently have thousands of students on our waitlist, however, our employees' children receive preference for enrollment. Our employees are also provided with free health insurance, 10 paid days of leave, many vacation days, and summers off. Vesting towards our excellent retirement plan begins on day one of full-time employment - our retirement contribution for last year was 10% of employee pay and requires no employee contributions, matching or deductions from your pay.
