Boat Driver/Lifeguard Responsibilities:

• Drive ski boat for waterskiing and patrol waterfront area,
• Must have active and current certification for New Hampshire boat driver's license. If you need to renew and/or take the NH ski boat driver’s license course and test, Camp Tel Noar will pay for this course and license.
• Assist Head of Waterfront with preparation for any aquatic’s special events,
• Account for supplies and clean-up work areas at the end of the period,
• Open the department during staff orientation week, and close the department when the camp season is over, including inventory of all equipment,
• Sunday through Friday, 10am to 5:30pm, including 1-hour break. Room and board available for anyone wanting to live on site, salary, hours, and responsibilities will differ (room, and board includes private accommodations, all meals, laundry, and ability to participate in camp activities).
• Take direction from Head of Waterfront as tasks are assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Proven experience driving a waterski boat and pulling water-skiers,
• Experience working with children ages 8 to 15 including day camp, overnight, volunteer or childcare work preferred
• Completion of freshman year of college/university, preferably studying education, physical education and recreation, kinesiology, sports management, child/adolescent developmental psychology, social work, community and youth work,
• Current and active ski boat driver license preferred

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $2,500.00 - $2,750.00 per month

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
