What will you do?

In this role, you will draft and prepare drawings of simple easily visualized structures, systems, parts, or equipment from sketches or marked-up prints.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate assembly and layout drawings of equipment in the fast-paced work environment.
• Generate shop detail prints.
• Generate flat pattern work for laser cutting.
• Work with Project engineers and other departments to meet deadlines on projects.
• Performs straightforward or routine work under supervision.
• Shift Hours Monday - Friday, 3:00pm-11:00pm.

Key Competencies:

• Minimum Associates Degree is preferred
• AutoCAD drafting skills required
• Knowledge of Soft-Edge and ProNest Software
• Must have manufacturing experience
• Must be detail-oriented and have good communication skills
• Ability to work full time with some Saturday Overtime
• Must be able to work scheduled hours and comply with the company’s timekeeping policy and all other company policies
• Knowledge of basic machining practices and materials is a plus, as is general mechanical knowledge
• Ability to work in a team setting
• Accuracy
• Reliability
