Job description
Well respected Community Health Center seeking a Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Advocate to assists Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Program Supervisor by screening, support, information on resources, and education related to domestic violence and sexual assault to the healthcare team and patients.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required.- 2 years’ experience in social work or related field required.
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required.
- Any combination of education and/or experience that provides the necessary skills required may be considered.
- Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
- Experience in crisis counseling working with survivors of domestic violence and/or sexual assault preferred.
- Experience working with healthcare providers preferred.
- Completion of 40-hour domestic violence awareness training preferred, can be completed upon hire.
- Completion of 40-hour sexual assault awareness training preferred, can be completed upon hire.
