Business Overview and Job Description

The name of my business is Hazel's Dog Walking. Hazel was my dog. She lived a long, lovely life and has since passed away. Back in 2008 she and I started Hazel's Dog Walking and it's been a beautiful ride since. My business is very stable and thriving. And that is why I need a quality person to work with me and the beloved dogs in my "pack".

I am hiring a partner in providing super awesome quality care and play time to dogs in Seattle. You will be loving on pups, playing with pups, driving dogs to and from the off leash park, managing dog behavior, giving out treats, picking up poop (lots and lots of poop), keeping work vehicle tidy, being friendly and professional with the dogs' human family members, and being a communicative team member with me on the days you work.

Hours

- You will work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, rain or shine, starting at 10am.

- The length of the work day will depend on several factors including how many dogs you work with on a given day, what park you choose to visit, traffic, and a variety of other unknowables, but typically 4 to 6 hours each day. (Did someone poop or vomit in the van? That'll add a few minutes to clean up. Yep, that really does happen. As well as other similar unforeseeable events. Fun!!)

Compensation

Hazel's pays $20/hour for the first 12 weeks. After a 12 week trial period at $20/hour, your wage will increase to $22/hour, with regular pay increases every 6 months and a $100 cash bonus every 6 months. Who doesn't love a crisp Benjamin every once in a while, am I right? Hazel's will also match up to $100 monthly contribution to an IRA.
