The Grateful Dog, located at 1769 Lombard Street in San Francisco, currently has a position now open for Dog Handler/Attendant. Day-shift (opening and/or closing). We are all about providing a comfortable, safe, and sanitary work environment filled with love for our dogs as well as our staff, especially during this time of the Corona outbreak. Job duties include (but are not limited to):

- Supervising/managing groups of dogs

- Interacting with clients in a positive and professional manner

- Light bookkeeping

- Sanitation procedures

- Walking dogs

- Answering phone calls and placing reservations

Requirements:

- Must be computer-literate

- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and walk for up to 2 hours

- Physically able to stand for long periods of time

- Ability to be proactive in a fast-paced environment

- Available to work over nights, weekends and holidays

- At least 1 year of experience working with dogs

Strong Work Ethic:

- Comfortable cleaning up pee/poo/vomit

- Comfortable working in a loud environment

- Self-motivated and enthusiastic

- Must show up to work on time and be dependable
