We are looking for someone who is very organized, has great attention to detail, able to effectively manage their time, and is computer literate. We would be willing to train someone on the DMV processes if they have these other qualities that make a great DMV clerk.
SUMMARY:
Automobile title clerks serve an administrative function and are responsible for processing the title of a vehicle from one registered owner to another. Title clerks are often responsible for all vehicle titles including wholesale purchases, sales and inventory. Duties will include processing vehicle registrations and title transfers, the examination and confirmation of vehicle titling and corresponding paperwork and chain of ownership documents for accuracy, assessing all documents for potential fraud, reporting all title discrepancies, maintaining knowledge of current DMV laws and regulations for the state of California, running outstanding title reports, reviewing and contacting sellers, sales departments, customers regarding outstanding titles, fees, paperwork, and handling parking citations, toll violations, and related correspondence by paying or responding with the appropriate documents.

JOB TYPE AND PAY:
- This will be a full-time position, and pay will range from $18.00-$24.00 an hour depending on experience.
