Summary of Duties:
  • Divisional Quality Director is responsible for customers, program/products and suppliers quality processes definition and implementation within Cabin Floor to Floor (FTF) or improve where already there; in particular, the Quality will be responsible for the followings:
o Make the customer' voice heard and understood within the Floor to Floor business
o Give confidence to customers and Authorities in our ability to satisfy in a sustainable manner their requirements by stimulating and accompanying constantly the improvement of our processes performance
o Develop and promote quality assurance in development by tapping synergies within FTF
  • Identify best practices and disseminate them in FTF
o Stimulate continuous improvements in our processes together with FTF continuous improvement lead
  • Leveraging on an existing team to be challenged and developed, the Quality Director will have the following missions (to be continued or put in place)
  • Enforce quality for Customers and programs:
  • Define/improve Customer relation on Quality matters
o Set up the governance with key customers
o Create the QAP (Quality Assurance Plan) for Company
  • Customer quality performance monitoring
o Define the KPI for customer performance and ensure deployment in all Divisions and sites
o Set up monthly and quarterly reviews with customers
  • Program management
o Set up the network of PQE (Program Quality Engineer) for key programs
o Define DVI and PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) standard within the Company, define deployment plan and support/control implementation
  • QMS systems:
  • Define/ Improve Company QMS and support deployment and implementation in Company:
o Management process structure of Company
  • Audits/ Regulations
o Plan and ensure the completion of internal and external audits
o Define and support deployment of Safran group procedures (GRPs)
  • Quality of Products:
  • Define standard process for non-conformity management
o Define QRQC Standard process for Company
o Set up a governance for QRQC Standard
o Define a common process for MRB management
  • Production quality performance monitoring
o Define the KPI for production quality management
o Define standard quality routines (Daily, weekly, Monthly, etc…)
  • Define self-inspection standards
o Progressively empower the operational teams to transfer all the inspection activities to them and focus quality teams towards quality insurance and customer relationships.
  • Quality of Suppliers:
  • Suppliers selection
o Participate in supplier assessment, selection and perform supplier quality processes assessment
o Define SQA (Supplier Quality Assurance) standard and support deployment it for our Top20 most important suppliers
o Define SQP (Supplier Quality Product) standard to limit the volume of incoming inspection
  • Monitor supplier quality
o Define and support the KPI for Suppliers performance
o Define and support the governance of worst suppliers

The objective of the Quality Director will be to continue to deploy our ambitious quality policies, along with other functional leads within the company responsible for innovation, continuous improvement and risk management.

Salary Range: USD 120,750 - 189,750 - Bonus Eligible

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree
Experience: 12 years of experience
Computer Skills:
  • Intermediate knowledge Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Other Skills:
  • Experience of transformation projects and team management
  • Receptiveness and ability to work independently and to foster teamwork
  • Effective oral and written communications skills
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and assignments with attention to detail
  • Thorough command of the process of analyzing the context, threats and vulnerabilities
  • Good organizational and management skills
  • Integrity and exemplarity in all circumstances
  • Ability to develop and maintain the status of trusted individuals, and be able to explain issues in readily-understandable terms
  • Proven interpersonal skills
  • Ability to explain and persuade
  • Efficiency and practicality, hands on

Additional Preferred Skills: (not required)
  • Experience in an aerospace company
  • Masters degree
  • Ability to communicate in English Spanish and French
