District Manager
SUMMARY:
With the direction and assistance of the Regional Director, successfully supervise limited number of company restaurants within a given supervisory district.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Motivate and develop restaurant management personnel in order to achieve sound and profitable operations within assigned restaurants.
- Oversee and insure adequate staffing of REAP positions within the Restaurant to operate the restaurant properly.
- Supervise subordinate staff to assure that guests are treated promptly and courteously; that products are of specified quality and quantity; that equipment is maintained properly; that sanitation standards are complied with; and that the restaurant is maintained in a neat and attractive manner.
- Selecting, developing and maintaining proper management staffing in the restaurants. Insure frequent contact and discussions with the Human
Resources Manager to monitor progress for all HR related issues.
- Direct and coordinate restaurant management personnel in community relations activities.
- Participate with the Corporate Marketing and restaurant management in evaluating and implementing marketing and sales promotion activities.
- With the guidance of the District Manager, review and analyze the Restaurant General Managers' sales projections and expenses.
- Submit to the District Manager, plans/programs that will ensure that members of the management team are provided the developmental and training opportunities necessary to maximize the use of their abilities.
- Administer, analyze, and enforce appropriate restaurant-level financial controls to ensure proper accountability of company funds.
- Coordinate and implement maintenance programs to assure proper maintenance of buildings, grounds and equipment.
- Submit recommendations to the District Manager pertaining to all employee relations and personnel actions (i.e. timely performance evaluations, conflict resolution handling, disciplinary actions, employee counseling, etc.) in order to develop attitudes of cooperation, enthusiasm and professionalism.
- Make recommendations to the District Manager concerning the hiring, termination, performance appraisals, merit increases and promotions (within policy) for Restaurant Management.
- As delegated by the District Manager, coordinate and conduct restaurant management meetings to assure timely and accurate communications, in order that all management is knowledgeable of policies, procedures and current operational activities.
- Conduct and administer restaurant visitations on a timely basis in order to evaluate the progress and performance standards in the operation.
- With the assistance of the District Manager, understand the current status and make recommendations for improvements to Guest Trac, Guest relations, and CPI criteria for each
Restaurant within the district. (Speed of service & REV inspections)
- Enforce company and operational policies and procedures to ensure that all personnel within his/her restaurants are knowledgeable of and are practicing said policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Submit and follow a monthly itinerary plan to the Region Director that encompasses all aspects of your responsibilities and insures adequate restaurant level operations throughout the 7 day week.
This itinerary should cover adequate time spent on nights and weekend operations.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Up to 10 restaurants within a supervisory district. Each restaurant employs a Restaurant General Manager, one or more Assistant General Managers and/or Assistant Managers, and approximately 25 to 40 hourly Team Members.

Pay: $73,000.00 - $83,000.00 per year
