Seeking a Intermodal (Ocean Container Drayage) Transportation Dispatcher with minimum 1-3 years of experience in intermodal trucking industry.

This is a fast paced, detail oriented position. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, can work autonomously as well as collaborate in a team environment, and is dedicated to deliverables and has a strong internal will to succeed. The candidate will have experience dispatching drivers doing multiple moves per day in the intermodal sector.

• Dispatch owner operators daily
• Hold drivers accountable for completing daily tasks efficiently
• Manage delivery window date by controlling shipping schedule and adapting to changes
• Manage system data for trucking operations
• Create and update reports as needed
• Correspond with customers and drivers via phone and email

Requirements:

• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in intermodal trucking dispatching or similar experiences and communicating with drivers
• Knowledgeable of DOT and hours of service rules
• Good written and verbal skills
• Excellent organization skills with ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to details and processes
• Ability to be flexible in planning workload and setting priorities
• Proficient computer skills

Salary will be discussed during interview.
