Express One Logistics is an award-winning service provider with DHL Express. We seek an experienced dispatcher for our N.E., D.C. location with knowledge to service the following areas: Washington D.C., Montgomery County, Prince George’s County, Charles County and surrounding areas
You are an ideal team member if:

• Must have 5 years’ experience working as a dispatcher, logistics coordinator for parcels and freight, or other work relevant to the shipping industry
• Must possess a working intermediate-to-advanced knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications.
• Must possess and demonstrate superior communication skills
• Must be well-organized and time-conscious
• Must be capable of handling multiple concurrent matters of importance
• Have experience with Customer Service
• Have experience in logistics or route coordination
• Thrive in an environment where time sensitivity and scheduling matter second only to customer service
• Are highly motivated to play a key role as part of a growing team
• Possess superior verbal communication skills

About the position:

• Full Time PM Dispatcher position Monday to Friday, $18.00 per hour, must be flexible with hours
• Communicating and coordinating with drivers to handle last-minute parcel pick-ups
• Servicing customers to address their requests and concerns
• Working in Excel to deliver daily status reports essential to the core of this business
• Ensuring accurate and timely delivery of parcels under your supervision in coordination with the drivers
• Communicating the results of your work to upper management and team members
