Responsibilities:
- Process all email orders that are sent to dispatch and distribute paperwork to corresponding warehouses to have material pulled, staged, and ready
- Coordinate deliveries based on customer delivery times
- Utilize a fleet of 30 various types of vehicles to ensure prompt delivery times
- Pair delivery stops to ensure efficient routing
- Utilize dispatch software to ensure it is being utilized to maximum potential
- Accommodate sales requests as needed
- Communicate to Logistics Manager daily with any issues with fleet or personnel
- Invoice out orders and check for accuracy of product on vehicle
- Take phone calls and communicate effectively with sales team
- Manage start times, schedule, and time off requests for dispatch personnel in your department
- Monitor weather for the protection of product damage and for route planning in inclement weather
- Take phone calls and communicate effectively with drivers
- Communicate with onsite mechanics and facilitate vehicles being transported to various shops for repairs if needed
Education/Required Skills:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Maintain a valid driver’s license/ CDL class B preferred
- Must be able to handle stressful situations regularly
- Ability to multitask
- Familiarity with desktop PC and functions
- Strong communication skills
- Positive problem-solving skills and adaptability
