Aston Carter is looking for someone who has at least one year of dispatching experience for an opportunity with a company in Elizabethtown, PA.

Description:

The Dispatcher will be primarily be dispatching techs to service appointments and developing a schedule for services.

Job Duties:

• This position answers to the Director of Services
• Dispatches plumbing and HVAC techs to service customers
• Creates work orders using company software
• Develops and maintains fluent daily service schedules
• Coordinates preventative maintenance contracts
• Receives payroll in the system, checks for accuracy, and pushes through to the Controller

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday
• 6:30am - 3:00pm (will be a little flexible if 6:30am is tough. previous employee started at 6:45am)
• 1/2 hour unpaid lunch

Skills:

• 1+ year Dispatching experience
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Must be a team player, able to multi-task and collaborate with other departments such as, billing and purchasing
• Must be detail oriented, able to listen, and concisely gather necessary customer information
• Must possess effective communication skills, always representing the company with professional, courteous customer interactions on the phone
• Must be highly organized, able to work on multiple priorities at once
• Knowledge of plumbing & HVAC terms preferred, but willing to train
