Job description
As a Dispatcher, you will dispatch emergency operations and routine calls to police, fire, and rescue units. You will be responsible for sending the appropriate responders to any incidents as well as keeping accurate records of all operations. A successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and will work well with both colleagues and citizens alike.
Responsibilities:
- Follow company rules and regulations.
- Maintain an awareness of current weather conditions and road closures.
- Direct responders to the scene of an emergency.
- Monitor police radio channels to maintain awareness of any relevant information pertaining to first responders.
- Perform administrative tasks related to dispatching and record keeping.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $11.00 - $15.00 per hour
