What you will be doing... Your IMPACT

• Plan, execute and collaborate barge and boat schedules within assigned river segment.
• Provide area planner with daily activity forecast and validate current plan while needing to identify any short-term power needs for the assigned river segment.
• Provides functional direction to Traffic Assistant activities in assigned river segment.
• Provide barge status, days in status, tow slot utilization within assigned river segment
• Manage vendor activities within assigned river segment with a focus on generating fleet speed and barge capacity.
• Initiates process improvements on workflow to ensure customer expectations are exceeded.

What we are looking for...

You will need to have:

• Ability to work proactively and independently while collaborating with Team Members at all levels of the organization.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized and detailed oriented.
• Flexibility in work schedule; work a rotational weekend - 1 per month.
• Quick learner and willing to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Google G Suite Microsoft Office (outlook, excel, etc.).
• Agile, flexible, and adaptable to change.
• Ability to work 7/7 schedule (7 days on then 7 days off)

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• B.S. degree in Business Administration with a concentration in transportation, logistics or a related field is required.
• Previous experience with high individual performance in a team atmosphere with one common goal to obtain.
