Position Objectives:
You will plan, develop, implement and supervise therapeutic recreational programs and required assessments. You will administer a wide variety of therapeutic activities designed to reflect clinical treatment goals and objectives. You will supervisor therapeutic recreation staff and the vocational coordinator. You will build and nurture relationships with residents, families, referring agencies, unit staff, physicians, other departments.

Requirements:
- Considerable knowledge of the clinical program requirements and methods of operation in the fields of occupation, recreation, music and related therapeutic activities in a mental health care environment
- Graduation from an approved college or university with a masters degree in recreational, occupational, or music therapy; national registration in field of specialty.
- Minimum three years' experience as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) in any of the above fields; including supervisory program experience, and national/state licensure
