Job description

We are looking for a Director of Rehab to lead our facility’s therapy services.

Job Position

Leads, guides and directs the therapy services of the healthcare facility in accordance with local, state and federal regulations, standards and established facility policies and procedures to provide appropriate care and services to residents.

Required Qualifications

The Director of Rehab must possess:

• A valid, unrestricted Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech Language Pathologist’s license in the state.
• Must have at least three (3) years of experience in a supervisory role in a hospital, nursing home, or other related health care facility.
• Knowledgeable of skilled nursing home regulations, procedures, laws, regulations and guidelines pertaining to long-term care.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Plans, develops, organizes, implements, evaluates and directs the overall therapy services of the facility as well as its programs and activities, in accordance with current state and federal laws and regulations.
• Plans, develops, organizes, implements, evaluates, and directs the facility’s therapy services and activities in accordance with guidelines issued by the governing body.

Full vaccination against COVID-19 or a medical/religious exemption is required.

Salary/ Wage Range

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• Supervision: 3 years (Preferred)
• Skilled Nursing Home LTC: 3 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Valid Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech Language Pathologist license required
