Develop commercial marketing objectives, policies and programs for NoA sales and tactical marketing strategy. Plan, direct and coordinate marketing business efforts toward accomplishment of company goals. Direct line of communication with the Vice President of Commercial Operations on business matters.
Responsibilities:
Key Accountabilities:
  • Develops North American marketing strategies for Werfen products to improve market share and profitability.Collaborate with Global Strategic Marketing to ensure synergy in approach.
  • Directs and coordinates activities of the Marketing organization to accomplish objectives and defined sales goals.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and subject matter experts (internal and external)
  • Promotes analysis of competitive products and selling techniques. Promotes market research to define and assess opportunities.
  • Monitors competitive actions and recommend changes in stragic moves, terms and conditions of sales. Monitors customer satisfaction in quality and quantity of services provided.
  • Manages tactical advertising and promotional activities.
  • Prepares and manages department budget.
  • Hosts and leads Marketing content and training for annual National Meeting
  • Promotes and manages product information communication to sales organization..
  • Coordinates and collaborates as necessary required activities across departments to insure product quality, performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensures that all marketing and sales personnel are trained to perform their jobs effectively. Coordinates effort with Werfen Training Department
  • Coordinates and collaborates with Corporate Account Director organization for effective use of clinical support specialists.
  • Prepares, monitors unit, consumable and service forecast and works with associated departments to ensure plan is achieved.

  • Regularly interface with Worldwide Marketing, North America Sales, Service and Applications, Customer Service.

People Manager Accountabilities:
Effectively carries out the expectations of Werfen People Managers as defined in Werfen’s Role of the Manager program. Among others this includes maintaining regular, at minimum once a month, and transparent communication with the team through effective use of formal one-on-one meetings with direct reports and team meets. Managing performance issues and conflict proactively; uses judgement in consulting with department leadership and Human Resources. Responsibility for the team´s compliance in terms of training, and fulfilment of their tasks and objectives as well as onboarding of new employees and development of the existing team.
Qualifications:


Minimum Knowledge & Experience required for the position:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or Marketing or a related discipline, required
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the diagnostics industry required.
  • Minimum of 5 years marketing experience required.
  • Sales experience preferred

Travel requirements:
Up to 25% travel
