Talento Search Group has an opening for a Director of Manufacturing for a food company in the northern Chicago area. This is a direct-hire position.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Plan, direct, and oversee production, warehouse, distribution, and sanitation of the plant
• Ensure employee safety, GMP, food safety adherence, and efficiency
• Set strategic goals
• Review financial information and adjust operational budgets
• Promote profitability
• Maintain an OSHA compliance facility
• Implement Lean principles
• Implement training and development for team

Experience Need:

• At least 20 years of increasing management responsibilities within a food manufacturing environment
• Proficiency with ERP and MRP systems and Microsoft Office
• Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field
• Experience with GMP, Allergen Training, HACCP training, and Food Safety Training
• Experience with Lean manufacturing and implementing process changes
• Experience with creating efficiencies
• Experience reducing costs, waste, and downtime
