Description: Massive Bio is looking to hire a Director of Finance and Corporate Development professional to support the CEO on fundraising and formation of strategic partnerships. Massive Bio’s mission is to provide access to clinical trials for every cancer patient regardless of their location or financial stability, using technology at a global scale. Massive Bio is a proprietary patient recruitment and enrollment enablement solution for oncology clinical trials. It is part of the $18 billion pharma clinical trial enablement market with double digit annual growth. Massive Bio provides unique tech enabled services and a big data platform that addresses all points of friction in clinical trial enrollment. Massive Bio has acquired 26 pharma/CRO/provider systems customers from late 2019. Massive Bio is headquartered in NYC, has a team of 70 people, and was founded by ex-PE, clinical and technology executives.

Responsibilities

• Run the deal process for fundraising and bring deal flow into the company
• Manage investor relations and reporting
• Lead all financial, accounting, budgeting, cash management and financial and management reporting activities
• Support CEO to make sure that company complies with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements
• Maintain a rich network of connections in industry, to accumulate market knowledge, and stay updated on industry trends
• Lead formation of strategic partnerships to enrich Massive Bio’s patient enrollment value chain including potential acquisitions

• Prior Finance and/or corporate development experience of a digital health or similar start-up is required
• A master’s degree or a bachelor of the arts degree in accounting, business administration, or finance is required
• A certified public accountant (CPA), Master of Business Administration (MBA), or certified management accountant (CMA) are preferred
• Investment banking background is preferred
