Job description
Rend Lake College seeks a full-time Grant Management Director. This individual will:
Assist grant teams with the development and writing of grant proposals, grant reports and other documents for projects that align with the college’s strategic priorities
Assist with grant proposal edits and reports to ensure documents comply with the grants’ requirements; Develop programs and facilitate activities that enhance the collegiate environment
Assist with production of appropriate materials under deadline pressure, meeting deadlines and following through on assignments
Promote access to college programs and services, support student success, and lifelong learning; Maintain a courteous and friendly attitude with employees, students, and outside agencies
Process purchase orders, invoices, and professional correspondence in a timely manner
Reconcile records with financial reports
Maintain a general knowledge of RLC programs, policies, procedures and personnel
Track expenditures, submit reports, process reimbursement requests, and compile evaluation data.
Full-time, 50 week, non-tenure track.
Bachelor's degree required with 3-5 years of related grant experience
Must be computer proficient with experience on Microsoft Word, Excel and other software programs.
Two years experience managing a budget.
Ability to interact and work collaboratively with colleagues, students and the public is required.
Ability to use a computer to enter, retrieve and manipulate data is required
Salary $47,000 or commensurate with experience
