Our client is growing and they have an immediate need for a Director Cancer Treatment Center. This individual will direct the staff of the Cancer Treatment Center in providing radiation and oncology services for patients of all ages.

Position Focus Director Cancer Treatment Center

• Is responsible for the overall direction and oversight of oncology services, including patient intake, navigation, social support, medical and radiation treatments, cancer registry, survivorship, and accreditation.
• Works in close cooperation with the Medical Director of the Cancer Treatment Center in all activities related to the operations of the center, keeping them appraised of any matters that affect said operation of the center.
• Collaboratively works to ensure oncology services are coordinated across the continuum of care such as surgeons, radiologists, primary care, palliative care, dietary and physical/occupation therapy.
• Manages all equipment in the Center Treatment Center. Makes recommendations for the acquisition of new equipment to administration through the COO, CMO and the budgetary process. Oversees repairs and preventative maintenance.
• In charge of maintaining and managing an appropriate number of qualified staff to provide competent, compassionate, and efficient care.
• Develops and maintains patient records, statistics, and metrics to monitor clinical outcomes, satisfaction, and financial performance.
• Attends meetings as requested. Orchestrates key administrative functions such as regulatory, DNV, Commission on Cancer, Tumor board, American Cancer Society.
• Attends seminars, workshops, and other education endeavors pertinent to management and the discipline of oncology.
• Represents the Cancer Treatment Center at the Oncology Committee, Radiation Safety, and Cancer Advisory Committee meetings.

Requirements for Director Cancer Treatment Center

• Bachelor ‘s degree in Business, Nursing, Therapy or related field.
• 5 years of experience in the field of oncology.
• Experience in healthcare administration.
• Supervisory experience.
