SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
- Treat residents with dignity and respect including providing opportunities to engage in decision making, constructive activities, and habilitative services to the extent that they are able
- Guide and assist residents live and function as independently as possible in their community
- Provide direct care, companionship and supervision. Responsibilities include support residents' daily needs: meals, grooming, transportation, recreation, leisure, medical, and medication administration.
- Prepare progress notes, complete daily logs as directed
- May require some daily driving as needed by the program
CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Compassionate about the care and well being of others
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or its equivalent
- Valid Driver's License
- Valid CPR & First Aide
- Ability to complete and pass given background checks
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
