9S Ranch LLC. is seeking a Diesel Technician / Mechanic to maintain a fleet of tractor / trailers running in Northeastern Nevada. Job requires general maintenance of trucks and trailers to include but not limited to, oil services, tire changes, brake maintenance and replacement, light repairs, road calls and some engine work. The job has something different every day to accomplish. We are looking for someone who is willing to learn with a positive attitude to learn and help the company succeed!
JOB SUMMARY
The primary function of the Service Technician is to perform superior quality repairs to the company’s equipment and make recommendations for further services as determined by the Technician in the course of the servicing. Wage DOE.
REQUIREMENTS
Must have own hand and pneumatic tools needed for performing basic and specialized repairs.
Must be willing to work somewhat flexible hours and some weekends once in a while.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be at least 21 years of age, clean driving record, own tools, and 2 references. Must be able to speak English.
High school diploma or the equivalent
Manual dexterity
Ability to lift parts up to 50 lbs.
Working knowledge of truck repair and maintenance
Ability to operate power and hand tools and other equipment safely
Valid Commercial Driver’s License preferred and good driving record
Two years of experience as Technician, Technician’s helper or apprentice in truck dealership
*Certifications are a plus
