Position title: Senior DevOps Engineer

Location: Englewood, CO and Herndon, VA (in the beginning travel is required between the sites until the team and project gets off the ground.

Length of assignment: 1 ½ years to 2 years with possibility of extension

Clearance: Active Top Secret with SCI or SCI eligible

Status of position: Looking to hire in early to mid-June

Our Software Engineers work in an agile, collective environment. You will be using your skills and expertise to define, design, develop, test, certify and improve cutting-edge software products supporting advanced mission payloads and ground processing environments for a wide range of multi-domain systems.

For this position you will be developing Java Code in a large virtualized classified environment. You will be developing applications critical to the success of a major national security mission. You will be working on a small team with great customer intimacy that makes a big difference.

The business area provides affordable, turn-key command/control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection and security solutions worldwide. The team has a long legacy of supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international customers with years of experience in platform operations, engineering and full lifecycle management across domains – air, land, sea, space and cyber.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and execute code in a modern software factory environment.

• Work with the product owner to develop features within the product road map. You will make valuable contributions to the team and our customer's products.

• Perform efficient and effective peer reviews to help the team improve software quality.

• Produce test artifacts that will form part of the continuous delivery pipeline.

Must-haves:

• Current / Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility

• 1+ yrs of AWS Cloud Services

• 2+ yrs of object-oriented programming experience, preferably in Java and/or Golang

• 1+ yrs of hands-on experience with Git, Linux, CI/CD process

• Security+ Certification

• AWS Developer Certification

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field with typically 6 or more years of relevant experience

• Higher education may substitute for relevant experience

• Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education

• Experience with infrastructure as Cloud: Terraform, Ansible, Cloud Formation, ARM Templates, Chef, Puppet

• Experience with scripting: Bash, PowerShell, Python (Boto3), AWS CLI, or Azure CLI

Preferred:

• M365/O365 experience and Identity Architecture (SAML, OAuth, AzureAD, Okta, etc….)

• Visio and diagramming skills/experience

• Azure Government

• AWS Government

• Checkmarx, Fortify, SonarQube, Aqua, Twistlock

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $150,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year
