Job Summary:

Develop detailed anchor, approval, fabrication, and erection drawings and documents per specifications for, structures, , using computer-assisted drafting AutoCAD, , Tekla and/or MBS software.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Detail frames and components for Complexity 1-10 buildings
• Detail library updates
• Printing erection drawing packages
• Incoming project information review for Drafting/Detailing Teams
• Approval drawings, Anchors layouts, fabrication and Erection drawing packages
• Shipping List, part labels, and material list for production and material ordering
• Produce complete and accurate frame and component orders that allows for clarity at the plants
• Prepare drawings and RFI's that clearly define next steps and provide accountability for both internal and external customers
• Assist other team members on projects as needed

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Advanced 2D and 3D drafting knowledge and skills
• Knowledge of Architectural drawings (blueprints) and Architectural print sizes
• Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite
• Adobe Acrobat software
• Problem solving and Trouble shooting skills/ability
• Mechanical Mindset
• Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment, with multiple assignments at a time

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous Education and/or experience in metal building drafting and detailing
• 2+ years of MBS (Metal Building Software) preferred
• 3+ years of AutoCAD and Tekla (or another 3D modeling software) work experience
