We are looking for a creative full-time Engineer - Tradeshow/Exhibit AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor Designer for tradeshows, special events, conferences, and corporate events to provide accurately scaled construction plans, including 2D CAD details, 3D models and CNC part layouts for the fabrication of custom trade show exhibits. Will produce detailed construction drawings with accurate and clearly labeled measurements, guides, and materials & finishes specs. Works directly with Design, Project Managers and Shop Foreman during the development of all concepts to turn conceptual designs into functional drawings. This role provides an opportunity to work closely with Project Management and Production and requires organization and great attention to detail.
Qualifications:
  • Must have previous tradeshow/event detailing experience. required
  • AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor experience required
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects on an ongoing basis
  • MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) is required
  • Knowledge of a variety of construction and finish materials including metals, plastics, fabrics, glass, locks, woods, and laminates
