Van Alstyne Dental is seeking an amazing* full-time Dent*al Hygienist in Van Alstyne, TX!
Beautiful, contemporary general dentist practice is looking for a skilled hygienist, or highly motivated new graduate to join our team. Must be empathetic and patient-focused. State license is required. Experience with private pay and PPO patients a plus!
Must be extremely organized and comfortable working in an environment where multi-tasking and goal achievement is required. Must have a polished presentation and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Welcome and greet patients
• Conduct initial oral screenings
• Identify conditions such as periodontal diseases, gingivitis
• Performing the appropriate oral hygiene procedure for each patient
• Educating patients on oral hygiene
• Sterilize dental instruments
• Follow infection control standards
• Maintain documentation and charts on each patient

Physical Demands

• Is frequently required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear.
• Sometimes moves boxes and files weighing up to 25 pounds across the office for various needs
