Job description

We are seeking an individual who is a responsible, self-motivated and dependable team player to join our growing office in Oak Ridge! Must be able to multitask and work in a fast paced environment. Must be well-organized with great attention to detail and have a personable, friendly and energetic personality. Candidates MUST have at least 8 years of experience in a general office. Must have all applicable state licenses and certifications from an accredited dental school. Work days will be Monday-Thursday 8AM-5PM.

Required skills:

• Select and set up instrument trays, equipment and materials needed
• Sterilize instruments according to regulations
• Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
• Taking high-quality x-rays
• Provide comprehensive patient education and post-operative care instructions
• Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
• Maintain accurate patient records with detailed notes
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
• Understanding of health & safety regulations
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Well-organized and reliable
• Knowledge of Dentrix is a plus
