Our new dental office is growing faster than we anticipated and need to add a dental assistant/front desk to our growing team. We have great hours and offer a great work life balance. We are open from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Thursday, giving you a three day weekend every week. We offer paid vacation, holiday pay and health insurance.

Position Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Assists patients in resolving minor difficulties, answering their questions and giving directions to patients as authorized by the dentist

· Serves as dentist’s chair-side assistant

· Prepares operatory for patient treatment

· Takes xrays and independent procedures as delegated and directed by the dentist in accordance with state regulations and law

· Maintains dental department equipment and work areas in compliance with Valley View Dental policies and procedures relative to infection control and safety issues, including the sterilization of all reusable dental instruments and equipment and the proper disposal of all contaminated or potentially contaminated materials

· Maintains adequate operatory supplies and compiles a list for inventory control and ordering purposes

· Comprehensive knowledge of dental assisting techniques and procedures for all phases of general dentistry

· Must be cognizant of the expectations and concerns of the patients and be able to respond in an empathetic and professional manner

· Maintain all necessary licensures and trainings and keep them up to date

· Follow all HIPAA, OSHA, State, Local laws pertaining to Dental Practices

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
