Our office is seeking a Dental Assistant to assist our dentist with a variety of tasks in a busy dental office. We're looking for someone with a friendly, outgoing personality and a commitment to hard work and customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a dental office as well as knowledge of proper dental procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Assist dentist in the performance of general or special dental procedures.
• Prepare materials or equipment and set up dental unit for operation of dentist.
• Screen and evaluate patients' oral health status.
• Explain treatment procedures, possible side effects, and financial arrangements to patients.
• Prepare patient for dental examination and treatment.
• Explain oral hygiene procedures to patients.
• Explain special dental equipment or materials to patients.
• Clean and sterilize dental instruments and equipment.
• Stabilize fractures while in treatment chair; disinfecting chair; placing patient on hydraulic chair.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
