Job description
We're looking for a dental assistant to join our team! The dental assistant should be well-organized with great attention to detail. We are highly structured, and strive to work within the office systems. We take our work very seriously, but like to have fun doing it!
Responsibilities
- Welcome patients in the dental office
- Prepare customers for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
- Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
- Sterilize instruments according to regulations
- Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
- Undertake lab tasks as instructed
- Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
- Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
- Maintain accurate patient records
Skills
- Proven experience as dental assistant
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Understanding of health & safety regulations
- Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks like coronal polishing is a plus
- Good computer skills
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Can assist with all standard General Dental Procedures including extractions
- Make temporary crowns
- High school diploma; graduated from dental assistant program DA II

We work three 12 hour shifts! It's a super innovative schedule that offers benefits unlikely found anywhere else.
- Never work more then 2 days in a row
- Every other weekend is a 4 day weekend.
- Take a single Friday off and get a whole week off with only one vacation day!
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
