Bierlein is a family-owned and operated company, providing a full line of demolition and environmental services. Our headquarters in Midland, MI but we are seeking qualified candidates to join our team of traveling Burners. Bierlein is committed to safety, quality and dependability.
Traveling for Bierlein comes with perks:
When Traveling Out of State of Michigan
- $30 a night per diem + $30 a night bonus.
- All travel costs and accommodations are fully paid by Bierlein in advance.
- Additional $6 per hour added to hourly wage.
When Traveling In the State of Michigan
- $30 a night per diem
- All travel costs and accommodations are fully paid by Bierlein in advance.
- Additional $3 per hour added to hourly wage.
Job Requirements and Qualifications
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team to torch cut steel in a high production setting on demolition sites.
- Safely and correctly use and maintain tools and equipment.
- Have working knowledge of various power and hand tools.
- Be able to lift at least 50 pounds, perform manual labor tasks, and follow the direction of the on-site Foreman to complete additional tasks as assigned.
- Scrap Burning/Torch Cutting experience is required
- Regular travel is required.
- Must be able to pass a background test and drug screening.
- Must be clean-shaven and medically capable of wearing a half-faced respirator.
