The Parts Warehouse Driver Worker at Affton Radiator will,

Servicing all Parts delivery and warehouse needs for parts as follows:

• Radiators

• Charge Air Coolers

• Oil Coolers

• Heat Exchangers

• Fuel Tanks

• Tanks

• and any other parts to be repaired

Perform Delivery and Warehouse Functions:

_ Drive delivery truck to deliver parts to commercial customers, including loading and unloading of parts_

_ Successfully completing 8-10 stops per day for picking up and delivering parts._

_ Complete vehicle safety checks per company policy and operates the vehicle within the safety guidelines_

_ Consistently and courteously assist customers in a professional and prompt manner_

_ Observe and report customer information, including customer buying habits and competitive intrusion_

_ Work with the Inside Sales or GM on account management, including distribution of invoices, cash handling and the processing of returns_

_ Responsible for maintenance, cleanliness, appearance and the safe operation of company-owned delivery vehicles on a daily or weekly basis_

What we're going to need from you,

• Fill customer orders and ready them for delivery

• Assist Shipping and Receiving in keeping the parts area clean, organized and stocked

• Obeys all traffic laws and follows established traffic procedures

• Verifies the contents of inventory loads against shipping papers

• Presents bill and receipts and collects payment for goods delivered or loaded

• Turns in receipts and money received from deliveries

• Provides excellent customer service

• Clean shop and warehouse floors, by sweeping, mopping, washing when needed

• Assist shop workers with need any by not limited to clean up tools, supplies, equipment, etc.

• Other duties as assigned

Basic Knowledge of,

• An eye for carefulness
• Valid Class E driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to frequently life and move up to 75 pounds from floor to waist-height and from shoulder-height to floor
• Ability to occasionally lift or move 100 pounds from floor to waist with assistance
• Ability to operate a forklift safely
• Ability to work in all types of weather and move between inside and outside environment
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
• Ability to drive vehicles with a standard (manual) and automatic transmission
• Have a good understanding of the metropolitan and surrounding areas and able to navigate from maps and directions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work with others in a team environment
• Excellent organizational skills
• Must be detail oriented
• High school diploma or equivalent

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
