A General Motors Accessory Distributor is seeking a full-time Delivery Route Driver. This position works with an established customer base of dealerships, delivering product and picking up returns. The driver is required to keep a time schedule and be cordial and professional with all customers throughout the day. The typical route schedule is Monday - Friday, with a 5:00am start time.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Provide accurate, timely and friendly customer service when delivering products

· Ensure all returns are removed from your vehicle and restocked daily

· Drive specified route effectively and safely

· Ensure appropriate delivery documentation is generated and issued for each deliver, then appropriately filed at the warehouse

· Properly maintains vehicles(s) and takes the necessary steps to report vehicle maintenance issues

· Inspects, protects, and maintains company assets, merchandise, and vehicles

· Periodically assist in the warehouse as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Minimum 2 years’ box truck driving/delivery experience within the automotive industry preferred

· High School diploma or equivalent

· Ability to lift, load and deliver merchandise/product weighting up to 80lbs.

· Drivers – minimum 21 years of age

· Valid driver’s license and ability to meet Vehicle Outfitters driving requirements; pass DOT physical, pre-employment drug test and criminal background check

· Strong communication, organizational and time management skills

· Automotive experience a PLUS!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
