The Dealer Performance Manager Position

Sunnova Energy is searching for a Dealer Experience Platform Manager to strengthen Sunnova’s relationships between IT, Account Managers and our dealers in all regions. This position is a key part of Sunnova’s growing Dealer Experience and Performance team, whose mission is to establish the strongest partnership program in the U.S. solar industry, generate new platform enhancement opportunities and strengthen the value proposition and strategize process improvement to Sunnova’s national network of sales and installation dealers.


Dealer Performance Manager
Responsibilities

  • Schedules meetings, follow ups; manages timelines, data and the appropriate flow of documentation for stakeholder visibility
  • Assists in the growth and development of our Dealer network
  • Enhances sales and operational procedures, systems, and business processes within the Sunnova Dealer network
  • Coaches, consults, and strategizes with Dealer Account Managers and General Managers to augment Dealer Performance
  • Manages communications and notifications effectively, both verbal and written to all stakeholders
  • Creates opportunities to expand Dealer “throughput” efficiency by early adoption of proven “best practices”
  • Works on multiple aspects of the process concurrently and with little direct supervision for accountability to meet commitments
  • Develop and implements corrective action plans as related to Dealer performance goals
  • Motivates Dealer performance through first pass yield adoption
  • Promotes beneficial relationships between internal and external personnel
  • Conducts scheduled Dealer performance reviews with Account Managers and their dealers
  • Provides insight to management and process stakeholders through established reporting
  • Assists in process improvement strategies for our Business Development team to support onboarding new dealers

Minimum Requirements

  • College graduate or High School Diploma/GED with 6+ years of experience in inside sales or account management role
  • 5 + years’ solar industry experience
  • Strong existing relationships with major solar distributors in the US
  • Innovative and communicative skills to coach and consult Account Managers
  • Basic familiarity with residential solar financing and the ability to become an expert
  • Valid driver’s license with clean motor vehicle record

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiar with Salesforce, excel, Word, PPT
  • College degree or equivalent transferrable work experience
  • Public company experience

Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Self-motivated worker with proven ability to manage outreach activities independently
  • Strong communications skills and the ability to create relationships with outside partners to effectively influence behavior required
  • Time management skills to balance a wide variety of necessary tasks; includes in-person presentation skills, internal Sunnova meetings, and document management
  • Willing to manage all necessary tasks, large and small, with a positive attitude
  • Track record of persevering through obstacles and setbacks to achieve challenging goals
  • Proven record of good judgment and analytical skills, with attention to detail and consistency
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce (a plus)
  • Ethical team player; always maintains the highest degree of integrity

Working Conditions

  • Open-office environment or remote office environment.
  • 25-50% estimated travel time
  • Driving and a Valid Driver’s License required

Physical Requirements

  • Extended periods of time working at computer workstation
  • Frequent Airline Travel / walking distances through terminals
