What You'll Do:
We are seeking a Junior SAP Data Engineer to be primarily involved in Wilson and Amer Sports projects and the redesign of the global reporting environment, from an on premise SAP Business Warehouse (BW) system to a Cloud based DataSphere environment. This is concurrent with a global upgrade from ECC to SAP S/4.
The Engineer will utilize their knowledge of SAP processes, data modeling and programming skills to design and build data models and reporting solutions to meet business needs. This role will also be involved in developing reporting and visualization in SAP Analytics Cloud. Other responsibilities may include:
- Convert business requirements into data models
- Learn to build data models in SAP DataSphere
- Utilize SQL coding to build views
- Utilize Python coding for more complex data transformations
- Design & build reports and visualizations per user requirements
- Partner with business users to translate requirements into stories and visualizations
- Assist and train system users on effective practices for query, workbook, report and visualization development
This role requires a bachelors degree in Business Administration, MIS, or a related field; along with a minimum 1-3 years experience providing reporting solutions in a business environment, including: experience data modeling with SAP source data, building reports and visualizations and experience with SQL and/or Python coding experience.

- Ability to work independently and exercise initiative to accomplish responsibilities
- Ability to prioritize multiple competing tasks and/or adjust to changing priorities while demonstrating a desire to accomplish and achieve results in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to collaborate, consult and share information with managers and colleagues within a global and regional matrix
- Strong sense of customer service
- Attention to detail and adherence to standards
- Experience with the following tools, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP DataSphere (DWC), SAP BW, SAP S/4, CDS Views very helpful
