Salary Range: $58,500 - $60,000
The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
Position Summary
The Data Analyst will perform a variety of research duties in support of NIH funded studies related to maternal-child health. The responsibilities for the position include: screening potential participants to determine eligibility, , assisting with neuroimaging (e.g. MRI, fNIRS) and physiological assessments of pregnant women and their infants, tracking and entering data into databases, and analyses of MRI, fNIRS and physiological data.
The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, ability to work both independently and as part of a research team, experience with coding and statistical packages, and an interest in learning new skills and technologies. 2 year term.
Responsibilities
Under the direction of the PI, provides technical assistance in neuroimaging procedures and analyses.
Collecting, storing, and analyzing participant physiological data.
Running study sessions where neuroimaging, physiologic, and behavioral data will be collected.
Screening potential participants and scheduling appointments.
Working on data entry, acquisition problem solving, and other administrative tasks.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience required; 2 years related experience
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in the area of electrical engineering (e.g. Systems Biology & Neural Engineering)
Other Requirements
Must successfully complete all online systems training requirements
Two years of experience working in research laboratory.
Skills in statistical software (e.g. Matlab and Python), machine learning, and hardware design.
Must have excellent interpersonal skills, experience with data coding, medical record systems, and proficiency in MS Excel and Word.
