Cybersecurity Compliance Analyst
Job description
Odyssey Systems Consulting Group is seeking a Cybersecurity Compliance Analyst to support our customer at Peterson SFB in Colorado Springs, CO. This role directly supports the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) by providing cybersecurity compliance services to ensure a strong security posture for several national security systems and support systems. The Cybersecurity Compliance Analyst will manage the security posture and ensure continual compliance for assigned systems, ensure the Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements are implemented, and support the ISSM and Program Offices. We do important and interesting work that directly supports the nation's missions around the world. We work in a great environment with a cohesive and supportive team.
Work is performed Monday - Friday, day-shift only, holidays off, and with a flexible schedule. Work is performed on the customer site at Peterson SFB.
Responsibilities:
Perform system security control compliance reviews- Perform FISMA compliance responsibilities
- Maintain System Security Workbooks for artifact status, continuous monitoring, and RMF and FISMA compliance
- Complete quarterly cybersecurity metrics
- Support and/or perform RMF Assessment & Authorization responsibilities for processing ATOs in eMASS; as well as related functions that ensure ATOs maintain currency and good standing
- Create, track, report, and burn-down Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&M) non-compliant items
- Participate in product teams, meetings, change control boards, and working groups to ensure the continued alignment of cybersecurity requirements in the technical baselines
- Perform security impact assessments on system changes and prepare letters of assurance, security impact letters, and risk assessment letters
- This position has opportunities to branch out and grow in related cybersecurity responsibilities
Certifications: Security+ or other IAM I
Preferred (nice to have) Experience:
- Experience with eMASS
- Experience with ITIPS
- Detail-oriented, organized, and good customer service skills
- Strong initiative, problem solving, and ability to work with minimum supervision
- Prior experience supporting SSC or USSF
- Prior experience as ISSO, ISSE, ISSM, or SCA

Please note: Final compensation for this position will be determined by various factors such as the Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
